The Rocky Run Gardens Rehabilitation and Community Partnership Project
The Rocky Run Gardens committee's primary purpose is to preserve, protect, and enhance the beauty and ecological value of the gardens, while ensuring they continue to offer both environmental services and community benefits.

The gardens serve a diverse range of individuals, including dog owners, local residents, and visitors from neighboring institutions such as the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. These green spaces provide a much-needed respite from urban life, offering a peaceful environment where people can relax, socialize, and enjoy nature.

The Rocky Run Gardens Rehabilitation and Community Partnership Project seeks to rehabilitate the infrastructure of the existing gardens by updating a series of components including fences, a new composting unit, a new toolbox as well as seeds and plants to enhance the beauty of these gardens.

Our Proposal
